- Nonviolent Communication for Focusers
Nonviolent Communication theory helps complete Focusing’s mission for peace.
NVC theory gives perspectives on biases.
NVC is helpful in “cultivating the ground” for teaching Focusing.
NVC helps people move up the Experiencing Scale and creates a “holding and letting” space for felt senses to form.
And of course Focusing makes NVC more effective by bringing felt sensing into the NVC process.
For all these reasons and more, NVC and Focusing compliment each other.
This 6-week online course will help you learn NVC in a Focusing-friendly environment.Saturdays at 11 a.m Eastern (January 27, February 10 and 24, March 10 and 24, April 7)

I create a quiet, spacious, relaxed atmosphere, where you can breathe and allow what is within you to come into the world. It could be a stressful situation that you wish to transform, or a transformational idea that wants to be born through you. Like a good midwife, I will be fiercely protective of the quiet, supported space you need, so that there will be no intrusions or interruptions while your process is unfolding.
I love this work, and try to make it accessible and affordable to those who need it, by giving a discount for a series of 7 sessions.
You can start with a free, half hour session in order for us to get to know each other.
Individual sessions: $75
Series of 7 private, individual one-hour TAE sessions: $495. Payment plans available
